I was born in Delhi, India. My father was an Army Officer so I remember travelling a lot as a child; from Kashmir in the North to Assam in the East. I was sent to a boarding school at a young age. India is a country of diversity, and these exposures as a child impinged images in my mind that I reflect on till today.

In 1994 I moved to South Africa and had the opportunity to travel extensively in Sub Saharan countries. The color and movement of Africa has deeply impacted my artworks.

Since then I have travelled to many countries painting scenes that have caught my eye. Sometimes I try to capture the raw beauty of nature, and sometimes the pure emotions of people. 

 

Having created more than 2,000 paintings in my lifetime, I have collected many of these to showcase on this website. Thank you for dropping in, I hope you enjoy my work, and are able to experience some of the journeys I have embarked on.
